So is there an official date set yet? Rick mentioned May 30th and June 6th but looked like he was leaning towards the 30th. I missed last years but I'm not going to miss this one. Do I need to keep track of my mileage. :)

I'm fairly certain the 6th, Rick had/has in his signature.

I had forgoten about the mileage.

I am definately looking forward to this year.

Is there any chance there will be a UTV at the cookout???
I showed SWMBO the pics Rick posted... she is very interested, my checking account is crying already. :(

I have contacted Kioti and it does not look like the UTV's will be on American soil this early.

It is the June 6th.

Didn't take Deputy long to sort this all out. I've got keys will drive.

Definately would not be a dull trip. That tri-axle empty behind the kiotihauler will definately keep one awake. Think I'll weld up a mount for a sway bar, that would quiet it down back there.

Looking forward to seeing the new machines this year.

Beastly is probably the most accurate description possible for sure. :)

I had one of those wacky dreams last night, went something like this: "burgers and dogs, burgers and dogs, baked beans, burgers and dogs, cole slaw, burgers and dogs, orange machines, bunch of guys in the way between me and the orange machines and one really large, not so handsome (putting it politely) guy inbetween me and the burgers and dogs, he was wearing a neon green shirt and the weirdest part of the dream, as there are always weird parts of dreams, his wife was attractive. Figure the guy must've been a rock star or something.

There was this short guy (i.e. my height), dressed like Rambo, guns all over the place, he was speaking in foriegn tongues, stuff like "fluvial geomorphology and a bit of hydraulic engineering, ... determine their feasibility and level of success ... However, the installatioin is then more vunerable to failure unless there is proper compaction of the design backfill, and adequate headwall protection. A simpel design model, or surrogate for engineering, that we use is called the No-Slope design model developed by Kosmo Bates for the State of Washington. .... Culvert diameter @ 1.25X the channel bed width (normal wetted area when running), should have the flattest possible slope (0% culvert slope for streams which have up to a 3% slope), and be embedded about 20% of the vertical rise. Shovel some of the excavated material back in the culvert and let the stream continue to function normally - transporting sediment, organic matter, debris, etc.

Mid-sentence out of the corner of his eye he saw something move, he spun around and starting shooting, at least there were less guys between me and the orange machines.

Then there was this other guy, from some island or someplace like that, he just stood in a corner and stared at quick attach implements. He seemed like the only one who understood the short guy.

Next to him was this taller guy, I think he was into racing or something like that, all he kept saying each time the short guy would finish sentence was : "Oh yeh, well i like to excellerate".

The last guy I remeber before waking up was this guy who was using hydraulic pistons as nunchucks and he'd come real close and swing them all over the place but never quite hit you."

Super wacky dream, really freaked me out, weird how the mind works, can't figure where this stuff comes from????

Joel, I think the winter (or mud season) has done strange things to your mind. In a word, you are a sick puppy. Freud would have a field day in your company. However, the cure should be easy and psychoanalysis is not necessary. A burger or two in a friendly environment with lots of orange light, surrounded by hydraulic powered devices and the hope of taking home a new implement or two should fix you right up. Bring the trailer.

Kinda' wierd Joel, but don't submit to the couch yet....

I had a dream that some guy came ripping up on a dirt bike, snatched my 1040 with Attachments A & B right out of my mailbox, and sped down the road bellowing a maniacal laugh while red-inking all of my numbers and tossing the pages into the wind. Try and try as I could.....I still owed money.

I'm still trying to figure out the meaning of that one....

LOL, the cookout is gonna be a good time had by all.

Keep the pictures of the projects coming, I'm gonna shoot some pictures of the front yard work, the box blade works great at grading.

I've farmed a dump truck load of rocks.

Problem is, I worry about projects getting completed then what to do with the equipment?

I'm thinking with the crowd at Rick's there'll be plenty of therapy to go around :)

Trying to figure out what implement to get, the box blade is working out great and I just ordered up a thumb. Possibly a larger york rake??
