No, I haven't run into a situation that I thought more hp would really solve. At first when the
chipper was plugging on stringy stuff I did think about it, but then I found that adjusting the knives per specifications solved that problem. I've put stuff in there that was too large to fit, but more hp wouldn't help that much!

I have to say that something that was hardwood, and 20' long might slow it down, but I burn that stuff, and I have chipped pine branches the max size, and that long with no problems. (those branches grow really long around the edges of my field looking for sunlight) We haven't had a storm large enough this winter to push my 54" snowblower so I can't speak to that yet. I have lugged it a bit doing loader work with good traction, but more rpm solves that. If I were looking to buy more hp right now, I would look at a tractor with better 3pt control, and steering brakes you can actually use........... I wouldn't spend that extra money on a basic B series. In fact, I almost bought a
B2320, and probably would have been just as happy with that. The dealer had the tractor I bought ready to go, and I needed something then so that's what I bought.
