Chipper Wallenstein Chipper Dealers in North East???

Try MIDSTATE TRACTOR in Middletown, CT.

I am at Midstate tractor quite often and they're a great dealer but I've never seen any chippers on display. Doesn't mean they don't have one in a crate somewhere but I doubt it. I would call them first before you make a trip.

One other interesting note on Midstate - they sell both JD and Kubota, which apparently is pretty rare. I've been told by the owner/head salesman (I think he's the owner but not sure) that them selling Kubota is a bit irritating to JD.

I didn't think I had a Wallenstein dealer in my area, turns out I have one 4 miles away from me.

general truck & equiment at exit 5 on 91 in vt stocks the logging winch and i though i saw chippers also .phone #802 722 3100. i have the chinnese chipper and it works great but it was ebay ordered good luck

I have been looking around for either a BX42 or BX62 chipper for some time and finally decided that the BX42 was plenty large enough, considering that we burn anything over 2-3 inches. At two different local dealers I was quoted prices of $2900 and $3300 for the BX42. The PA dealer mentioned above offers the BX42 for $2495 and the BX62 for $3299 plus shipping, both very good prices. However, I suggest anyone interested in either of these chippers also check out Marsh Brothers in Dundas, Ontario (see their Wallenstein listings on agdealer.com). Yesterday, my wife and I made the long trip from VT to Dundas, picked up a blue BX42 for $2366, and made it back home before midnight. There was no hassle at either border, no fees, and I got to see Niagara Falls for the first time.

Wallenstein BX42 $3049 for hydro add $2660

Valby CH140 $9300 with hydro or $5500 without

I did not get prices on 6" as I will be burning everything from 4" and up. I was told Valby is a great chipped, but you pay for it. I was also told the Wallenstein is very good, but real heavy commercial users may find a few areas for improvement.

With that price difference, the Valby must make acres of coleslaw, mounds of julienne fries, and slice roastbeef so thin your inlaws will never come back !!

Get the Wallenstein. I like hydraulic feed.........I used to have a BX62 with hydraulic feed. Everyone who owns a manual feed Wallenstein says they feed great all on their own. I cant imagine anyone justifying the extra money for the Valby.

Pittsfield Lawn & Tractor (Pittsfield, MA) is a stocking Wallenstein dealer. I was there last Friday and they had both the BX-42 and BX-62. I just sold my BX-40.

Just about all of the tractor dealers around my stomping grounds (western NH) have the Wallenstein chippers.
