Wallenstein Logging Winch

Anyone out there have a Wallenstein Winch?
I'm considering purchasing a winch and the Wallenstein looks like a good unit. I currently own a Wallenstein chipper and I'm very pleased with it's quality. I've been looking mostly at a Farmi, but the Wallenstein is about a 100# heavier and comes with safety screen, and a drawbar attachment for about the same price as the Farmi. Thanks!!

I looked at Farmi, Fransgaard and Wallenstein before buying and found they were all pretty comparable in quality and use. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any of them, though I own a Farmi

RASA, I know that Wallenstein make decent equipment. I cannot comment on the winch but I hope to purchase one of their chippers in the spring. I like the idea that it is direct drive and they seem solidly made. Is your the BX42 or Bx62 and do you have the hydraulic feed?

Jimmy1-I have a bx62 and it doesn't have a hydraulic feed. It's self feeding-and works pretty good. My tractor is only 35HP, so if anything it feeds a little too fast on the big stuff. I have to feed shorter sections of large branchs so the tractor doesn't stall. I like it

-its easy to clean and surprisingly quite compared to my little gas powered chipper/shredder.
