Wally World HD engine oil closeout...

I was at WallyWorld last night and they are closing out nearly all HD engine oils sold by the quart. The exceptions were Shell Rotella and the SuperTech oils. I picked up the remaining 8 qts of Delo 15w40 for $1.20ea. They are even closing out the Rotella Syn @ $3.50ea. Pennzoil, Valvoline, Quaker State 15w40 all running $1.20ea. They also had some gear oil and grease as well as ATF, which reminds me to go get the last case of ATF+3 for my wife’s minivan!!!

This is the Walmart in Hannibal, Missouri, but it might be worth a stop at your local Walmart.

probaly not selling enought to make profit they have completely quit selling rotella T syn 5w-40 and replaced it with castrol RSX HD oil they also quit carring pennzoil HD for some reason they had a simular "sale" but there prices were the same as std..

Wal Mart does some strange things but you can do that when there's not much competition. A lot of times, you can get things cheaper elsewhere.

I've been going to sams and getting Mobil delvac 1300 for like 60-70 cent cheaper a gallon and the trans/hydralic fluid is 17.84$ a gallon..

I've lost my faith in rotella in recent months..

I've been wanting to find a distributor who sells products by 55gal i use nitro 70 kendall also but no one wants to sell 55 gallons there price was like 6$ or more a gallon! more than what a retail customer would pay and most distributors wants you to buy a truck load before they will order products. like ~9-10K dollars worth of product!

Sams sell a few different brands in the 55 gallon drums... they also have a special order desk for items they don't stock...

A fitting grouping as I don't like or use any of their oils.

I recently read some testing info from 2 seperate companys and they showed rotella and rotella syn. to be very low in performance as compared to other major 2 brands. some of there testing revealed that there product doesn't pass CH-4 except that they have multi-pass averaging on certian tests.

I also have had questions as to some performance factors after using it on 2 vw engines and a truck engine.
