I don't know why others have lost faith in Rotella but in my PSD I find it runs better with the Delo. Especially when the oil has been in for a few thousand miles. Don't know if the Rotella foams more or if the HP oil pump for the injectors doesn't like it but it just seems smoother with Delo.

that's one of the 3 tests the CH-4 and CI-4 that rotella does a less than great job on.. It failed one of the cycles and was only slightly above the pass mark.

JD seems to do very well and Delo looks good also. Rotella didn't do as well and that was my suspicion.

Don't count on it. I've watched Wally sell off inventory and the restock with the exact same thing more than once. I'm thinking it might have something to do with contracts and the volume of material they have to purchase in order to keep the priviledge of buying at a lower cost than everyone else.
If the warehouse is half full and a new shipment is due, they might have to move some product fast to make room.

If they are selling it out there, hope it gets to here. I live close to Oxford, MS, and checked the Super Center here, and it's the same old price, not down one cent. I'll keep my eye on it though, as it could change over night, knowing how they do sometimes.

for the past several years, the wm here, has had the price of a case of castrol, considerably higher than the same number of individual quarts. i brought this to their attention a couple times, it never changed, so i just continue to buy a case of oil by the quart.

Walmart just pulled rotella T 5w-40 and DFA from shelves put castrol RX and alot of pennzoil products.

I hope they don't quit selling Rotella T at Walmart--
It's the only place I can buy quarts by the case instead of individually. Darn Chevette diesel takes 6 quarts on an oil change!

Wally World has Delvac and Delo near my fathers job in Canton GA. They even have 10w30! Good prices too. The stores next to me only have the Shell and that "tech ?" generic brand. I guess every area is a little different. In Alabama I stopped at a Walmart that didn't have regular diesel oil.

The only place I can get the Delvac or Delo is Walmart or Napa with thier own diesel oil.
