Tractor
Mahindra 3325
I have been thinking of "my ideal" tractor and I have come to the conclusion that it is not being made. After studying I have in my head a smaller 4WD 00 series, built in India by Mahindra, 25-32 HP, wet sleeves-direct inject engine, 12 speed shuttle or hydro, wet brakes, 3k + weight but smaller framed and tight turning radius with a low as possible CG. I don't know if Mahindra is ever planning to make a smaller 4wd 00 but it would get my attention. I am very impressed with the larger ones but they are all too large for my needs and cannot justify getting one. I currently have a Kioti 3054 and I like it and will use it till I can justify getting something else. I hope by that time this tractor, or one as close as I can, get exists.

Good luck in your search. Personnaly, I don't want to give up good ground clearance for somewhat lower CG, as I don't try to climb telephone poles with it anyway. BobG in VA

I didn't mean that I wanted an exceptionally low CG but just lower than I had on my L3010 w/R4's. When I got the Kioti 3054 I was amazed at how much more stability it had because of the smaller frame, yet it has more weight and the same HP. I was just trying to design a 00 tractor similiar to what I have but with a few more things I want.

Sounds like a 3510o or 4110 would be just right for you. These beasties are heavier than their JD, NH or Kubota counterparts.

Maybe, but those are built by TYM not Mahindra. I looked at 2810's which is the size I would really like and I thought they were nice. What I meant by "ideal" was if I could have what I really wanted. I want the 00 Series Mahindra features in a smaller package not a TYM or a Mitsubishi. I am sure they are fine machines but when, or if, I get a Mahindra that is what I would want. Wasn't trying to stir anything up.
