Hey guys I have a 2005 TC 48 Newholland 4x4 tractor. I want a brush grapple. My father has one on his Case skid steer but it's too heavy for my tractor. I am wandering if anyone has one they use and how well it handles it. Who its made by and what it weighs. Thanks ahead of time.

do a search on Grapple. or Markham, use to be an owner of a shop, or Gator with is a brand Markham made, now owned by someone else, WR Long is another vendor. You will find hours of reading. There are units made with CUT's in mind. the weight is about 400 lbs or so. You will find many posts describing pro's and cons of root rakes or grapples ( bit different designs) also which is best a wide grapple or one that is more narrow.
I bought my unit from Markham about 2 years ago. It is 60" wide with some extra tines in the bottom so smaller stuff would not fall through. Great tool probably one of the best items I have purchased. I am very pleased.
There are a lot of vendors and you just need to shop around to find one style you like and that has best price and shipping.
