Buying Advice Wanting to get a backhoe for my bx2660 which is a 2012

I wanted to trade it in & get a B25 but they will only give me 7K & it only has 240+ hours. So im thinking about getting a woods BH6000 which I think comes w/ a sub frame & pto pump?? Im just not sure what would be better for me. Id rather spend less as possible but I want something that will last. any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I agree those are your basic two choices. (I assume you meant bx25 when you wrote b25) I would suggest contacting another dealer in person for trade in option. Also, get a firm price on the Woods BH. Then you can judge the real difference between aftermarket and OEM setup. Look up reviews on the Woods 6000 BH etc.
You just have to decide if the difference on your purchase price to trade in price is worth it. It will cost. Been there done that.

You might see if any local dealers have a used bx25 to trade. That would save you some cash.

Call or email Barlow's equipment. That is a simple trade for them, and you will get one price, no haggling and they will deliver. At least it will give you a baseline price and from experience I can tell you it will be worth a try. Messick's is another option you could try.

You could also post your BX 2660 on local Craigslist now that you have a trade in price to work with and sell it yourself.

I priced a woods BH & it's with in my limit. They no longer make the bh6000. They now make the bh65 but they won't be out for another month or two. It comes with the sub frame, bracket for the seat, mech. Thumb, bucket 12", hydro hose & kit to plug into the tractor for $5100 & I install it. Thanks for your info.

The Woods BH is a good BH. Parts are available if needed. I recently bought a used Woods BH750 w/ PTO pump and sub frame for my tractor. I had to adapt the sub frame to fit my tractor.
