Our Isuzu diesel on the generator certainly has no warm up period. It starts and immediately has to go to work. Could be full power but normally would be about 2.5 kw out of its 12.5 kw.
It does have a cool down period where it runs off load for about a minute or so before shutting down. Not turbo.
