Well a little house on maybe 4 axles is a bit small to my experience, but I got about 40 years of hauling things down the road that supposedly didn't fit the road. Best thing you can do is stay out of the process of moving them chunks of house, and let the driver and his crew do their jobs.
Get yourself one of them folding lawn chairs, sit in it and take pictures if that makes you happy, and see how people who move them house chunks every day get it done.

Not sure why it's taking so long to build. I bought a custom designed Manufactured home (Jacobsen) two years ago and it only took a couple days to get it into the build schedule and finished after I paid the deposit.
My unit was finished and sitting on a lot in Clearwater while I had to wait 4 weeks on County Permitting to play their games! (I was replacing a 24' X 60' MH with a 28' X 56' Manufactured)
I got my Permit documents at 2pm on a thursday, made a phone call and they had the new home delivered on friday by 2pm!!!

I'm not sure why the date is what it is, they could have brought it in the first week of January, but I am going out of the country for a week, so that delayed things until mid-January as I didn't want it delivered while I am not there. Frankly, I'm glad for a little of the delay- it allowed us to clear two trees that were definitely going to be a problem, and secure permission from a neighbor to take down her fence, go diagonally across her property (cutting off two major turn problems), and do some road work that I have been unable to do after my Heart Surgery. I got mine from Skyline, and actually went to the Factory, which is located in Ocala, to see the home.

Thanks, I took the screen room down from my old home in 3 wall sections.
I poured an extra 3' wide on the old slab and bought new roof panels, the room is 13' X 36'.
I also posted a pic of the front of the home.
I REALLY LOVE the new home!! It is so well made and I paid $1200. for the upgraded insulation package. The highest electric bill I have gotten in 2 years was $96. for a month! That includes a hot tub in the screen room and a 2000 sq ft shop where I have my fabrication/repair business.
The home has 2" X 6" exterior walls and a vaulted ceiling. My biggest complaint? Jacobsen has never contacted me for a testimonial?
It came out to about $40. a sq. ft. and well worth it!
