I do all my own service and it hasn't needed much of it. Just fluid changes. I buy my supplies from Pinnacleview in Keene NH, Tractorsmart.com, or Norfolk Power Equipment in Burrillville, RI.
The BX22 & BX23 are almost identical machines. The only difference is the seat and the sheet metal. All the rest is the same the last I heard. Kubota does have a newer engine, but it hasn't made it to the BX23 yet to my knowledge. They are both 22 horsepower machines. I am not certain what you are referring to when you say "optional stabilizer bars for the backhoe". The BX23 comes standard with stabilizers on all the backhoes. If you are referring to the flip over street/dirt stabilizer pads, then I can say yes. They are a almost $200 option, but worth it to me not to scar my driveway. If you don't have pavement that you will be working on, then they aren't necessary. They can be purchased at any time and put on easily. Start without them and if you find a need, then order them. If you like, send me a PM with any other questions.. Junk... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
