Wow,
I'd never imagined there was such group that "dig" thier tractors such as here.

I am pleased to find it.

I've read through a lot of posts here and found the discussions very helpfull since I dont know much about cut.

I recently moved to the country on a small acerage and it came with an older massey 230..

I decided to get something newer ( ok now i've decided on new instead of newer )

I am now patiently (not) awaiting delivery of a deere twenty series tractor.

I was having a hard time figuring our why no one was talking about them here till I realized they are a completely new line for Deere....

Anyhow, I'm figure some of you have been reading up on the twenty series and might have some comments about them.

I ordered with the 400x loader and a bunch of other attachements.

Any comments regarding the twenty series would be of interest to me to read...

There have been threads in the Deere forum about the new 4000 Twenty line. They are nice machines. When it arrives, how about a pic or two? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

What model 4000 Twenty did you get? What other goodies are coming with it?

What part of Texas do you live? tomtom means Yoakum to me...They have plenty of 20 series here in Giddings if you want to come look. they aren't behind any fencing so you can look at them whenever you want...Kyle

waiting on a shiny 4720 to get here

dont know if from factory or if they trasnfer from another dealer.

I havn't been able to find one within an hours drive or so, Kinda odd to be to buy site unsceen but ---- what can I say.

I've read so much I dont remember if I read in the forum about the twenties or not.. I did catch one large and thorough article on this web site / reviews....

It helped me decide on the 4720.

Always need more Texans posting here. Congratulations on your new tractor. I got a new Kubota last Thursday and will be posting pictures as soon as I can reduce their size a bit. Enjoy your tractor when you get it.

Hey Vernon, check out www.webshots.com, a free service to post your pictures up to 250 I believe. You can really put up large resolution pics there and arrange them in albums. It's a good service. Even the pay part, if you need it, isn't expensive. John

already have a rotary cutter / harrow / planter / lister / grader bade
need a cultivator - any idea's ?????????

i'm realling looking forward to having skin on my knuckles and the bruise on the top of my foot should be gone soon too... it was becoming a perpectual sore spot... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

didn't hurt as bad as dropping the harrow - with one of the points right on the top center of my foot... I only had to do that once !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll work on some picture as soon as I get it.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only person that loves his "tonka toys' as the wife likes to say .....
