IF EVERYTHING WAS FINE BEFORE U WASHED IT, YOUR PROBLEM IS DUE TO SOMETHING THAT GOT WET. leaving it out overnight is really not going to dry things out much, by the time u read this it probably fixed itself, let us know what u find.

Re: Washed BX...Now starter doesn\'t work...Ideas?

Turns out it was the pto safety switch. I engaged and disengaged it a few times (as I had also done the night before), and she started! It works fine now. I guess I will have to be more careful about where I spray the water when I wash it in the future.

Thanks for the good advice!

Powershop,
I had to replace the turn signal switch twice already. I guess I keep my BX too clean! Water easily finds it's way inside that switch and the mysterious operating turn signals/4way flasher is the result. It was covered under warranty and, if I remember right, it's an $8.00 part.
