Woooohoooo!! Time to wear off some of that paint on the frontend loader and backhoe!! Looks good though!!

I just spent 2 separate 2 hour sessions power washing a L48 for sale. Every joint, every nook, everything. I had no Idea it would take that long. I used a commercial hot water and soap machine, looks great. Ruined 2 pairs of pants, what a messy job!

IMG_1195.JPGThey work better when they look like this. Slightly worn with a few scratches, note all the paint worn off both FEL buckets. You aren't afraid to work them then rather than worry about getting dirty or scratched up a bit.

Tractors are a pain to clean. I am going to detail mine here soon now I think the snow is over. I am not afraid to get them dirty but a scratch would be doing the unthinkable unless it was on the bucket:laughing:

Almost as bad as detailing my Harleys...

Just sayin'

:D:laughing::cool2

That's L5740.

I bought a moped last summer to ride out to the farm. Now, I'd like to move up to a motorcycle BUT, people would probably expect me to keep the motorcycle clean. With the moped they probably think I'm a slovenly drunk and don't expect much of me.:laughing:

That's exactly the reason I sold my Harley and bought a KTM!
Never looked back!

Just sayin...

My tractor is used and used hard but not abused. The bucket is plenty scratched up, but...
Where might I find this support group you speak of?

;)

I use my tractor hard but I like to keep it looking new. To those of you that make light of that philosophy, come with me when I trade it off or sell it and I get top value and then some. It's easier to get your price when a machine has obviously been cared for and you have documented maintenance records. It's money in the bank in my way of thinking

Before WaxMan, waxing a tractor was a big no no on this site, If it was done, It was done in the dark, in a garage with no windows. I took a pretty big beating for you new wax guys, Glad to see it's now acceptable. I actully had to come out and say , My name is WaxMan and I wax my tractor, I wax under the hood, behind the seat, inside the fenders, the backhoe and the fel and damm proud of it. And don't mess up my rims, That's just the way it is. Some people have a 61 vett in the garage I have my Kubota.
