water hybrid???

I'm checking back in. Is there no one out there who has tried this water hybrid thing or knows someone who has & with what results? I thought there were a lot of fellow cobblers on this site. Most of my cobbling goes for naught, but if we are retired & able, I think cobbling is required.

This subject is getting hotter & hotter with a lot of installers opening up around the country & advertising yet I still cannot find a single soul who has one that can say yea or nay. There is one site that I visited, the url escapes me, that had lots of reviews, mostly favorable but still nothing completely credible. Surely someone has tried this or has a Griswold type brother-in-law who has.

I started to build one last weekend and hope to finish it up this Sunday. I am using the directions from the following web site.

I guy that I work with built one and has been running it for about three months on his Wrangler. He says he is getting about 35 mpg.

If I get it working on my car this weekend I will post some pictures and report back if it works and what my new milage is. I currently get 35-40 mpg, according to how I drive and if I am on the highway or the back country roads.

So, what happened?
