Hey jeepcj7, thanks for the reply. I figured out that I probably didn't need any gasket dope when the packaging stuck to the new gasket, meaning that it already had something on it. The tractor is back together and running, but my next question is, the tractor still over revs. When running, I have to keep the kill knob pulled out part way to control the rpm's, the throttle lever does nothing. Everything else looks great, sounds great. the tractor runs like a watch. Can this be an injection pump timing issue? or is it an indication of needing a new injection pump?
