water pump prices

Hi all, I am wondering what a reasonable price for a water pump is? Tractor is kubota L345. Quote from dealers range from $130 to $140, seems kinda high to me.

I need to replace the water pump on my L345, also. I was just checking the price at <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.tractorsmart.com/>TractorSmart</A>, and it's $110.25, plus $1.31 for the gasket, plus freight. They seem to have reasonable prices and provide great customer service. I ordered all the filters for Larry last month and they came in a hurry.

Does anyone....

Hello everyone, i was wondering if you guys could help me out, I have a 1984 Allis Chambers 5015 Compact Tractor and it runs great. There is one catch, recently the water pump bearings gave away, leaking from the shaft. I have called and drove around Near my town,Kingsport, Tn and not yet found a dealer that can order a water pump for that make, i would really appriciate it if anybody could give me some web page, or dealer that i could contact... I just want to hurry and get my tractor running again, so i can play...

Have you considered just replacing the bearing? Most are standard bronze bushings and a machine shop can press out the shaft and pulley, put in a new bearing and press it back together.

You might be able to order just the parts you need and rebuild this water pump. Check page 20 of the exploded parts manual for part numbers.
