I was thinking perhaps of getting a bunch of the 55 gal plastic barrels and locating them appropriately to drip to several trees each and then fill the 55 gal barrels with the tote and a pump./quote]

My Mom's neighbor is great at scrounging bargains and she gets 55-gallon plastic barrels from restaurants for $10 each. You might look into that. I like your idea; but my HOASS wouldn't.

Great minds think alike. I'm going to look at this set-up on Saturday. It has a B&S engine.

Will determine the shape it is in when I get there - 200 mi. round trip. Will take a trailer just in case.

I'm guessing that the tank is a 200 - 250 gallon unit. I was thinking 500-gallons for your forest; but if this suits your needs and works, you may be in business.

I bought one of the 275 gallon tanks with an aluminum cage. The guy will deliver if he can get enough to make it feasible.

$115 for the tank and delivery

He will be starting to college down in Pensecola Fl (lives in the Raleigh NC area) but I guess if he had enough of them to deliver to make him a solid profit then he would do a week-end run. There are a lot of folks on 85 or 95 depending on which route he took.

You can get these free from most any farmer that Sprays his crops.
