Water volume and pressure question

/ Water volume and pressure question #51
No seat time today. I spent a few hours doing general maintenance on my JD 750 this weekend.

Air filter
Fuel filter
Oil filter and Oil Change
hydraulic oil change and screen. (No hydraulic filter)
Also fixed a couple of minor Hydraulic leaks.

The machine seems to run much better, but probably my imagination.

It has been 7 years and about 100 hours since this was last done. I do not get enough seat time.

There was some metal shavings in the screen. No more than the equivalent of a pea. I expect that is normal.

My oil leak was one threaded connection and one quick connect. Put a new o-ring in the quick connect female.

I did not do coolant. Looks very good. Maybe in the fall?

I do not have the knowledge to answer a thought I had:- If the proposed offtake line is bigger than the existing line to the house (to allow for future add-ons as some have suggested), will the line to the house then become the offtake? Will the pressure in the house be reduced when the bigger proposed line is in use?
Depends on where the 1" line is Teed in. ... If right at the meter no change unless the meter itself is restrictive. ... If Teed near the house, heavy flow in the 1" line would cause a loss over the whole length of the 3/4 line. In that case you would detect a pressure loss if you were running water at the house and somebody turned on heavy flow at the shop.
