Watering Trailer

Looking to construct a tandem axle trailer that will hold a 500 gallon water tank. The water tank will have a 2" valve at the bottom of the tank. Needing help on how to devise a boom system that can be operated from the seat of the tractor with an on/off valve. Not sure I will need a pump because gravity will do most of the work. Has anyone seen anything like this before that wasn't prefab? I know that I can buy one from Wylie but it can be costly.

I didn't look too hard to find this maybe you can peck through there and find some ideas. It seems to me a 12V DC valve would work just fine all you would have to do is make up some kind of wire harness with a toggle switch at the seat to operate it from.

If you're using a boom arm to lift a watering hose you don't really need a valve, just lift the hose end above the level of water in the tank. Not sure from description what your application is, but I'm guessing you drive to some trees, drop the hose for awhile, then move to a new location until tank is empty. Doesn't seem like you really need a valve.
