I use a product called Zaino to wax my Challenger. It has a lot of stripes and plastic that makes regular wax not work well on it. Its not really a wax, I think they call it a polish, but its really a man made wax. It works really well, and you can actually use it on black plastic items to keep them protected. The only problem with Zaino is that it doesn't have a lot of cleaner in it, so you have to start with a fairly clean surface.
JD - Zaino is a very good product and probably is one of the best that provides long term durability. If you decide to try it, don't get to caught up in having to use all their steps of polishes. If you have a good decent finish to start with, you'll be fine with the Z2 polish. If you want to polish and remove swirls and minor defects, then use the ''all in one" polish first.
Zaino is all I use on my vehicles. I polish and seal them once sometimes twice a year (usually once) and Zaino gives me that long protection. I usually do two coats and use the ZFX additive.
I've only found one Zaino product I didn't like, and it was the "all in one" polish. It just didn't seem to hold up as well as the Z2. A friend of mine said to try the polish that is also suppose to remove swirl marks, he says it does a good job of cleaning also.
