TC33D / 7308 ldr 60" HD bucket
I went by my local dealer today and may have taken a test drive on my new used tractor.

It is a 1988 Ford 1920 2wd. It has very rough fenders and is missing the grill but runs like a champ. It has the 4 cylinder diesel and shuttle shift like the new TC35. This is basically a TC35 with the old sheet metal.

He will let me have it for $4800. I can get new fenders from the dealer for $293 each and a grill for $125. some new paint and I will have a nice tractor.

What do you guys think? Does anyone else out there have a 1920? How do you like it?

Hope it works out! My grass is really getting tall.

My First Choice RFM (decided on the 72" as 84" were about two weeks delay) and Box Blade (BB3072) should be here Tuesday. Like a kid on christmas eve!

Sounds pretty darn good. If your happy then were happy. Looks pretty good, new fenders & grill and some paint, good as new for a quarter of the price of new.

Not bad.

I have a 1997 NH 1920. It is 4wd with gear transmission, also 4 cylinder.
I bought it rebuilt from the local nh dealer, with 720 hours on the tractor, but only 2 hours on the rebuilt engine.
I paid 9500.00, plus another $280.00 for the canopy.

I absolutely love it. My wife thinks we need to get a larger tractor for another piece of property, and I can driv ehte larger one and she can drive the 1920... I think not.. she can drive the other machine... I'll keep my 1920.

I've disced with a dual ganged 6.5' disc, and also used pasture drags, and had quite a bit of weight on the rear end with a dirt scoop. and done tons of boxblading with it around the maneuer and clay piles in my pasture.

I havn't found a job on my 13 acre farm that it could not do well. A couple times going into turns with the disc I started to loose traction but a touch of the brakes or diff lock took it right out.

Before I bought, I looked the tc serries over, and at all the boomers up to the tc35... I just didn't like the smaller engine displacement, and lower hp/pto hp specs and less engine cylinders ( 3cyl ) on the new boomers. I also looked at massey fergusion, jd, and kubota. MF was going to be my next choice.... quite a bit of tractor for low $'s.. but not to many fancy features on the MF's.
Again, this is only my opinion and experiences.. but I love it.
I wish they still made the 1920 line...
