My brotherinlaw's Dad would take a propane torch and wait till night time and take a small ginseng hoe and dig them out while holding the torch by the hole. he would kill the nest and never get stung. He would also burn tent worms out of his apple trees with a propane torch on a long stick. If someone didnt like too use poisons this would be a good way to do it seems like the yellow jackets go for the light instead of you /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
