I believe a TV show covering 3 or 4 different operations, sorta like "Gold Rush" is doing this year in the mining, would go over great. I would sure like to see a series developed in that vain. I think there would be lots of excitement from tractors, implement use, planting, harvesting and also food plot development. Which TBN member or members would you choose to feature, if you were producing a series? One of my Picks would be Eddie Walker. Ken Sweet

Love it.

There was a show called The Last American Cowboy that documented three cattle ranching operations in Montana. Great show. Wish they would come out with a second season. A similar show on farming or hobby farming would be excellent.

They tried it with two gay guys and it was flop. Get the gay out and you have a show.

And make it a small farm, not a big corporate farm. Someone like gene logsdon for example.

Anybody watch Alaska the last Frontier, about a family homesteading just outside Homer. Though it all looks pretty staged, as they talk about struggling to survive, and being homesteaders they sure do have a lot of equipment to get by. Not a bad show though

In the real world of farming and ranching everyday life is pretty boring to anyone not familiar with it. Plowing and discing ground for 18 hours at a stretch would only be about 20 seconds on a "reality show". They would have to "stage" a stuck tractor with two or three other rigs trying to get it out. Finally they would bring in a team of horses from the nearest Amish to get them out.
First two or three shows would be alright but then the ridiculous aspect of TV marketing kicks in.
RFDTV has some aspects of real farming, livestock, equipment and rural life. Channel 231 on DISH.

Wasn't that a great show? What was that show called last year with the custom harvesters? It was pretty good too.
