Looks like quite the grapple Frenchie!!
When you get all the hoses and valves for hooking it up and also start using it, post lots of photos for us.

Not to be a party pooper, but the thing looks lightweight (engineered) to me. Looks like the tangs will bend soon.

Em14 I purchased this directly from weareduction.com in Lake City FL. I spoke with Paul Green. Post us some pics. of your JD6420 (nice machine) with your grapple.

Ken, I got a shipping quote of 475 LBS and 525 LBS on a pallet. We have scales at work so I weighed it on the pallet it was just over 530 LBS. So I would say its just under 500 LBS his was a big factor for me most grapples that I see with 1/2" tines weigh 900-1000 LBS, Most lighter weight ones have 3/8" tines. when its on my tractor it doesn't feel any different than my bucket.

Jake Only time will tell although as thick as these tines areIi think I'll be ok. When you see it first hand it looks way better than pics. or what you see on the internet. Every seem and joint is fully welded it really apears strong. I will post more pics. when I get all the plumbing done. Frenchie.

On second look, those are some thick tines. Lots of grapples use braces welded along side the tips, yours look pretty beffy. Good luck with it.

Very nice looking grapple, Frenchie. You will find a thousand uses for it.
Seems to be well built. I used my rear remote for an add on grapple that I have, paid about $200 for hoses and fittings.

I like the price but A36 steel is known as structural steel and easy to weld. It is thick enough but not as rugged as the AR 400 steel that Anbo uses.

Thanks for the info ... my 6420 is in Alabama at this time but I will take some pictures after Christmas when I'm on the farm ... The JD 6420 has been and continues to be a pleasure to use. You will enjoy your grapple ... at some point I need to carry the 6420's bucket up there ... but at the present time I am using the grapple by far the most!
