Weather Storms.

Ryan Hall has a great channel. He tornado warns before the NWS often. He is my go to.

While I appreciate the NWS on my weather radio, there could be better options. In the last couple of years, new fiber optic line was run less than one mile from me. I may as well be on the moon waiting for connections in my neighborhood. Living in another area with fiber, I think in ten years, I only lost the internet twice. I use Dish and Hughesnet so I may as well rely on a "weather rock" when it storms.
There's a lot of ways to get NWS info, and they have way more than what's in radio broadcasts.

I use some apps on a phone or tablet to get NWS forecasts, weather radar and even forecast models that go as far as 16 days out. There are also apps that present what appears to be private weather info, but most of that (except personal weather stations) is using NWS's data.
They all work on internet, even a slow connection, or on a cellular connection.

The NationalWX app for example has tons of NWS info including their forecasts and models. Carrot weather app has forecasts and radar. Ambient weather has personal weather stations but also forecast into from NWS. Weather underground does the same.
