Our house is only 12 years old so there shouldn't be the surprises that one finds on really old places. I have been to all the sites you guys listed but I'm trying to find one that has more depth on costruction and dealing with contractors. Sure wish there was a site as good as this one is.

www.jlconline.com is THE JOURNAL OF LIGHT CONSTRUCTION web site. The print magazine always has articles on the business of general contracting, change orders,CAD programs, dealing with subs, employees,inspectors etc.The print version is way more informative than the web site.
