We\'d better change our name to Zetor/Century/Brans

Hi guys,
Guess we'd better change the name of this group listing to Zetor/Century/Branson. Just got done talking to my area manager. Got the new literature for the Zetor by Century tractors. The new tractors will have black grilles, and a wide decal on the side that says "Zetor" and a new model number. The 50 series loader on the tractor also has a "Zetor" decal on it. Still one of the best lookin tractors around. The black grille is a great addition in my opinion! Sets off the red. Guess what? A new soft door cab is available also now. Great for the winters like we have around here in WI!! Skid loader style attachment is now available for those guys with some skid loader buckets, pallet forks etc. that they want to use on their Zetor/Century. I like a company that listens to dealers and suggestions and makes change. Rather than the old saying of we build it and you buy it because that's the way it is. The only thing I think missing to compete is a hydro and I hear that's in the testing phases. Glad I took on the Zetor/Centurys!! Really nice tractors.
Winter's finally letting up a little, sun feels warmer. Enjoy your tractors!

Good to see that some improvements and additional options are on the way, not just a name change!

Nick,

Do you know which models the cab will be available for? Generally, it seems that anything under 40hp doesn't have cab options unless you go after market.

As I progress through my research, I'm finding the thought of a cab becoming more attractive, so any manufacturer that might have a cab available for the 30 - 40 hp range will definitely get a closer look! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The soft cab will fit any of the Zetor compacts. As for the universal skid steer mount it will be available as standard equipment on the C-50HL around May/June. And by the way I'm all for the new group name. "Zetor/Century/Branson"
Thanks and Happy tractoring

Garry,
Just echoing what Chipperman posted. The softcab looks really nice. Uses the existing ROPS to mount a canopy top and uses a solid front section with window and wiper. The doors are soft style. From what I understand they all of the Century models as mentioned by Chipper. I've had a lot of positive feedback of the new "universal" skid loader type attachment for buckets etc. Really opens up some options for those of us with loaders etc.

In the late 60's there was the Brussels conferention, a conferention of many western european dealers, to talk about the future changes on the first UR1 models, 2011-3011-4011. Since then, there was no such dealer feedback event of this size.

But the dealers i have talked with, say that since the HTC group takeover, there is much more user/dealer feedback to the factory.

When the three big ag mags in Germany, England and Holland tested about 9 mid class tractors, the factory requested a translation being sent to Czechia.
The changes on the 3rd generation Forterra will be based on these user and dealer feedback, development is already taking place. We'll see a new generation (up to 160 hp)probably around 2005.

Renze- Zetor has a dealer council in the US that does that very thing. We have a dealer from each district in the US, 9 districts, that meet annually at the Louisville farm show in Kentucky. Input from these meetings go all the way back to Burno.
