Wedge Clamp Needs Help!

Help please. I am trying to attach bedder to Leinbach cultivator with wedge clamps, but I can't get them to tighten. Any tips or where can I find instructions?

If these are the old IH style wedge clamps: once you have the plow in the desired position, you hit the top of the wedge bolt with a hammer to secure it in place, then tighten the nut to lock it there.

Thanks for the suggestion. I found the problem. The nut was running out of thread so I added washers.
