Point is, I have a Woods rake that needs a repaint and I don't want to spend more to buy the paint. Yet, I already have Kubota Orange II in the basement. Hmm...I could buy a set of decals, paint it the much more attractive Kubota Orange II and smile all the way to the bank. Since Woods now paints things Kubota Orange, no one would catch it. Might even help resale when that day comes. It's now on my summer project list.

Sorry sixdogs, just saw your post. I used a 4 1/2 grinder with a flap disc and wire wheel to prep. I also used a hand held sand blaster for the corners I couldnt get to.

Wow, is that impressive. It's a fair amount of work but what a great pride of ownership and way more than you paid for it when you sell it.

Hey guys and Paul, sorry it taken so long to post up the finish picks. Been busy with honey due's around the house.. I was able to get some concrete in this week about 360 lbs so far. total weight should be 500 of so. I used it last night to unload some skids and it works pretty well but may need a little more weight. I'm going to use steel scraps and lead for hear on out so I can change if needed. With the bottom floor in I can hold two saws, gas and oil. Hammer and ax with wedges. Everything I need for a trip to the woods.

Paul, I'm still watching all the old videos and trying to give you time to recover. I didn't want to comment a whole lot so you don't feel the need to respond and get some rest. Still getting some ideas for my next project, could use a little guidance from you and the rest of the guys on the board. GET WELL SOON MY FRIEND.
