I sat in an M125 a few day ago. Just sitting there, I suddenly needed a really large farm and some haying to do among other LARGE chores! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

OK, I finally have done some homework on this.. using the backhoe weight that we tallied up here.

Tractor 3265 Lbs
Tire Ballast 900 Lbs
Backhoe & subframe 2500 Lbs
Backhoe Bucket(18") 130 Lbs (kubota spec)
LA 723 Loader 1058 Lbs
Loader Squareback bucket 293 Lbs

for a grand total of: 8,146 Lbs.

the loader bucket figure seems a bit light to me.. but that's what the Kubota manual tells me.

Now, an F350 with the bigger diesel or turbo diesel and the right gear ratios is listed as having a maximum towing capacity of 15000 pounds.

So, I may not have to mortgage the house afterall!

still gotta get through the wife however.

My Kubota L3430 with LA513 Loader, Heavy Duty 66" Bucket, Quick Tach, BL4960 Backhoe, 16" BH Bucket and loaded tires weighs 7,250 lbs. When on my 18' Maclander 12,000 lb Trailer, I am pulling 10,500, just had it weighed.
