Orang08. I'm sure that your F-350 could handle the long trailer with the axles set way back. The concerns that I would have would be the receiver weight rating (bumper pull) and the torq flex axles set near the end of the trailer. The front axle would support a bit more weight then the rear axle. If all you need to do is haul a beamer around once in a while then Im sure you would be OK. A full size backhoe on the trailer? wellll, not so much. Trying to find a trailer that low riding cars load without draging it's bottom on the trailer deck is one thing. Trying to get out of the car after its loaded is another. Yep, either bash the door on the trailer fender and squeeze out of the car, or climb out through the window (NASCAR style) and try to figure out how to close the window without opening the door. I have seen some car trailers with removable fenders to gain a little more clearance but not sure how much more room that would give you.

Just a fyi a 4x4 backhoe is in the 15k-20k range and I would not tackle that with a tag unless it was a pintle hitch.
