Anyone have any info on weights and grill guards for a 3525? Mowing down trees and brush take a toll on the paint. I have looked everywhere on the computer and the local Mahindra dealer is 50 miles away. I once was told the grill guard is availible with a loader but I don't know if it is availible without the loader frame. As for the weights I think they attach via a weight bracket but without spending hours at a dealer trying to look it up I am stumped. I am really impressed with Mahindra but I would sure like to see them get more involved with developing an accessory supply line for these tractors.

If you have mechanical knowledge it wouldn't take much to make your own brush guard out of some 1/4" x 2" flat stock, some bending and maybe a little welding. My local tractor supply have a rack of various size steel. A front weight bracket could also be made. All you have to know is how the weight hangs on the bracket to configure how to make it. I haven't made a brush guard for mine yet but did make a small weight bracket. My bracket holds 5 - 30 lb. weights I got for free. Its not much but every little bit helps. If I had suitcase weights the bracket would be different. Attached are some pics of my weight bar. Haven't lost a weight yet. Check local scrap yards in your area or any equipment dealer. Sometimes they get tractor weights for scrap or on traded in equipment and will sell them much cheaper than new price.

thanks for the pics George. I may have to try to make something. I am going by a dealer in about a week. I had to order part of the exhaust that went thru my bush hog, for the second time. I am going to have to learn to weld.

just an update for any one looking for weights and grill guards. I finally got a day off and went to the Mahindra Dealer in Marshfield MO. He can fix me right up with what I need for a reasonable price. Mahindra has a bolt on grill guard and the weight bracket availible for the 3525.
