Recently acquired a used 88" HD flail mower. It's offset to the right. One place I want to use is around a couple of ponds. I would like to attach a weight on the left side of my Kubota M6800 to counter-balance the mower. Anyone know of general purpose (or Kubota-specific) weights for this? I've seen them on roadside maintenance tractors.

Many of the weights you see off setting the mowers on the roadside mowers are large hydraulic tanks. If I was carrying a 8' offset mower on my tracto I would carry all the front end weight I could and I would probably make a box that hangs of the tractor and loader frames to the left of the left step. The New Holland TN that I have has holes in the frame that the manual shows are for mounting equipment like this. Given a few lengths and weights it would be fairly straight forward to calculate where and what amount of weight you need to carry.
