Not a problem there deep you have a point, it may not save everyone time or effort but for me there are a few reasons it works, my tiller drive shaft had already been cut to fit just the 3pt and the QH I had wouldn't work. Its pretty much the same amount of pins and trips on and off the tractor as before that didn't change but it will be a lot easier to back up and get on the lift pins now.

It wouldn't fit an actual QH also the tiller is 7-800 lbs and sits on a framework off the ground so it doesn't rust so it wont move when I am hooking it up. There are others but I think you can see the reasoning now hopefully!

Oh yes,Thanks for explaining things, I can see now the ease in using it, simply back under an implement and lift and then install the top pins, appose having to get reasonably close lineup and then still having to arrange/swing and achieve proper height of the lift arms/ball sockets to lineup with cat-pins, and then I usually still have to muscle the implement around an inch or two to get the lift arms/ball sockets to line up, sometimes I get lucky and one side will slip right on while I'm still seated on the tractor,:D
It's clear to me now and I can see how would certainly save some time in that manner,;)

I was thinking the same thing. I think there was a 24 hr period with no new activity! Either nobody has a question were all to busy and nobody must be broke down and need our help?

hey don't take this wrong guy's....But how can this be considered a Quick hitch if one still has to get off the tractor and install a pin or pins? what I'm seeing in the pictures is now it takes 2 pins per side when use to take only 1  maybe I'm not seeing the concept clearly:cool:

this is how they work:

very neat product, thanks for sharing, curious as to why you decided to weld them on? I see on the website for just a few more $'s they just slide onto the arms and can be removed.

Smoody,

Good question! I thought out and I liked the idea that the weld on would be very stable and didn't take up any side clearance, like on by backhoe it has a "U" bracket rather than pins to attach it so have limited space there, wasn't 100% sure that would work with the removable ones.

(honestly I am not 100% sure they will work on it welded on either time will tell I haven't tried there may be an update on this thread after I attempt that but I think I am ok)

And I am just guessing here those may be tight as heck but anything added on is usually anything but ideal fit wise and my pivots are loose enough as is. :D

This still allows me to use the original ends if I want or need to for some unseen reason at least they are there w/o having to store or remove anything added on.

I saw the slide-on hooks on the website and wondered how snugly they fit. Has anyone here tried them?
