weldable hydraulic cylinder ends

I think it was to turn the input and output to a different angle so it would mount against the arm without hitting.

I built my TnT. I also searched for bare end cylinders. Never found any. So bought cylinders with swivel ends. Was able to save the rod end on the top link cylinder. Had to remove both ends on the side link cylinder.

Here's a pic of the side link that I built to match my Kubota stuff. It was kind of a ***** to build. I wanted to retain all the functions of the Kubota link.

Here's a not very good pic of the top link cylinder. Had to convert the barrel end to get a long enough swivel on so it didn't hit my tractor top link bracket.

I have welded my fair share of ends.
I wrap the extended rod to prevent splatters with a wet rag and weld away with 2 or 3 passes.
So far so good.
At the shell end I weld with rod extended and again no problems.
Secret ( I believe) is to keep heat away from the seals and chrome finish on the rods.
