I'm wit chew fredd, dem certified welders no mo fun dan seeing win blo. I lik da kind dat jus sa "stan ova dar,hole my beer and let me at it". Even if job go sower,always seem funny latta on.

Dem dat can generally do. Rest seem to need more training or school.

Had fill of a post few years back wid bout 9 welderbaiters and 3 salesmen runnin a kid just needed to weld # 9 wire together. Dey had him so twisted he looked like a pretzel on a pole. Salesmen hustling him for $5000 machines to do Dollar job.

Walked over to shop grabbed some scrap and Smith torch wid #6 tip. Medium temp brass dip flux, Everdur, steel using .035 mig wire for filler and more steel. Took all of 15 minutes, snapped a couple pictures & posted. Odd thing, didn't even spend time grinding or washing or acetone wiping either de hunk of scrap or de rod stubs I stuck together. Probably should have used chalk to curb de brass all pretty on de flat, but wasn't any handy. Funny thing, all de welderbaiters and salesmen disappeared.

Welders weld, ladies and girlymen discuss and postulate and recommend. (removed) just too dumb to know what he can't do so he goes ahead and does it 3 ways. Dat ain't enough I got a few more tricks.

Go ahead and fix it one of the above mention ways. If it breaks just pick another process and fix it again. Soon you won't even need to ask for help. Good Luck.

That's just a blower, so no fire issues if it breaks. Good learning experience potential.
