Re: \"Welding\" Lexan or plexiglass?
Years ago, in my Navy days, they used a product called
M-E-K which I believe is Methylene-Ethylene-Keytone. It is some powerful stuff. We just called it MEK, and it was used to strip paint from aircraft. The smell would take your breath. They had to use respirators. Dip a rag in that stuff and lay it on a car, it will take it down to bare metel. Anyway, it was used to glue Plexiglass also. If you had the right equipment, such as a heat strip, you could bend thie Plexiglass.
