I have to agree that a MIG is the way to go. The flux core works just fine, but it has a lot of splatter and is better in the wind. The MIG function is great, and makes a lot cleaner weld. Mig is the easiest to learn. A Victor torch I feel is also a good way to go, because you can find the new tips almost everywhere. Mine is a Smith, and in my little valley, I have to go to the Internet to buy new ones. Good luck, and have way too much fun with the new toys...I mean, tools.:laughing:
