Excellent work on those bars, no reason to buy when you can make stuff like that yourself. Not trying to hijack but im anxious to hear how much it improves using the bucket. I have been thinking of adding one myself to a tractor just like yours.Turns out the MIG handled it very well. My welding isn't spectacular but I'm betting these are not coming off any time in the next decade. I have to clean up, prime and paint it, then attach the teeth.

Hey guys, I saw the 72'' tooth bar kit on sale at amazon, its $30 less then letting them weld it up.
My question is, will I have to remove my cutting edge to use this? I have a large maybe 4 or 6 inch wide cutting edge on my L48 bucket. would this sit on top or behind my original cutting edge. My last tractor the cutting edge was not removable and was a lot narrower so the Markham tooth bar fit behind it. That bar was Awesome. never failed me in 11 years of use.
Thanks
MrC.
I have the same L48 bucket with the bolted cutting edge. The TITAN prewelded units won't work unless you remove the cutting edge.
However, I believe sitting on top or behind the original cutting edge would not work as they are the same as the prewelded just not assembled.
I have several TITAN products and am pleased with them. I want to add the tooth bar but do not want to remove the cutting edge.
If someone has done this or has a solution please help us.
If I want a flat edge it is not hard to change over, however with a 2x2 x1/2" angle with bolt on cutting edge on the back of my bucket, I use that for quick back dragging and grading.
