\"WELL\" it\'s finally done!
After spending all of my vacation last year on projects /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif like barn building, deck construction and water line installation, one project is finally completed /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif. I ran my water service from the road to the house in September and in doing so had to remove my front cement steps to enable the water service to enter at a point in the house other than my family room or exercise area. That of course, required rebuilding the steps which turned into a small deck /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif. Well, I spent the last two Saturdays and part of Sunday running copper inside walls and ceiling to bring me to the tie-in point. I cheated and used plastic in the ceiling, I wish the whole house had it now. Ended up with two small fitting leaks to go after today. I spent extra time splitting the system to enable me to keep my best well water for drinking. The other one will be backfed to the barn and my future bathroom. I took two days off work to finish the project in case I needed plumbing supplies, so today is a bonus play day. If only the rains would stop /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif. Here I sit drinking coffee I made with my press, and typing on the computer, I have a water trench to clean up and it is still all mud! Kind of nice not having to worry about running the well dry when I water the flowers now, except that this year I could grow rice in what used to be lawn and flower beds. Thanks to all for the occasional advise on these projects /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. Now on to those two leaks.
