Good,just keep playing around,,,I got mine to cooperate,,I got one of those low cut off pressure switches,,,pressure get down so low,you got to ,turn switch by hand,,designed to cut off before water runs out,,,good idea,,,,but my cut on was below or equal to that,,,so I turned the nuts up,,been working good for about a year now,,sounds like you ain't got no problem at all,,,thingy

Yes. Especially since Murphy's law is always in effect. When the switch fails (and it will), it will be at 6 pm on a Saturday night in the middle of snow storm.

Well I can't dispute that failure turnkey4099, but I can assure you the capacitor will fail in the pump control box on a Sunday at 6 pm. We don't see much snow but it was raining.

All good suggestions on the thread, but Im thinkin that if you have a 20/40 switch your not gonna be able to adjust it to 30/50 . You can only get so much variation out of the lower pressure switch.

All (Sq D) switchs are adjustable as I described; they just come preadjusted to 20/40, 30/50 or 40/60 psi. So do Furnas switchs and they adjust with a tall spring screw (adjusts range [30/50] together) and a bolt head (adjusts cut-off only).
