well pump enclosure?

foggy, is the check valve at the pump the only one? If it is, and you take it off with the pump, the pipe will drain down to the water level. The pipe will only have water in it from the water level down. If it freezes, it should have the same pressure on the outside as it does on the inside. If you use the garden hose idea, be sure and plug the end so air stays in it. If it is open on the end it won't do any good.
I found a shed builder that will build a rustic looking cabin enclosure for $150. Guys i want to do this right, so what options should i ask for? Am I going to want some kind of outlet for a hose or something? What should I use for a foundation, some kind or rocks? Ventilation? 
Well[well get it],,anyways,,you need a proper foundation,,dig down below freeze line,,cement footer,,cement blocks up a couple high,,than make whatever you want on top,,insulate it very good,,electric line for light bulb and plug in for electric heater.... BUT,,very important,,that top needs to come off,fairly easily,,you need to be able to service your well,,that means rig or whatever,needs to be able to go over well,,so,top needs to be removable...
