If you just plan on watering livestock, try a large watering trough and use a sprayer to fill it. That may be enough aeration to allow the sulfur odor and taste to dissipate.
Years ago we had a sulfur spring on our farm and even with no aeration, the deer and hogs always kept drinking from it.
Since it's just for livestock, check with the extension office and make sure there aren't any harmful effects for them, then try it, a little time invested, no money involved at this point.
