Oh yeah, another thing, I just read your post about where your spouse wanted a ring, but you wanted the tractor. In my situation I am always free to buy whatever I want be it a new tractor, or new implement, or new computer, etc. BUT I buy them before discussing my purchases with my wife, she never really minds what I buy as long as it's with MY money.

Well I gotta say I love my BX1800 and my main property is only 3/4 acre. You won't regret it and I agree that price sounds pretty good, but I would get the FEL now also as adding it later is more expensive.

I didn't plan on getting a FEL, but dealers told me I should really consider as the cost wasn't much more than the front blade I was going to get (for snow primarily). Well now that I have it and moved several ton of stone, dug up my septic, dug a location for my brother-inlaws garage pad and a host of other things (including digging potatoes for fun) I am /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif all the time.

Oh almost forgot that I have also used for snow /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif and it works great so no need for a blade. I also maintain my 40x100' garden and couldn't be happier.

My wife always asks if the purchase will make my "work" easier. Of course I say YES and I tell her that my "buddies on the board said so".
I have bad health and she's concerned, of course, but if it makes me have to work less or makes things easier to get accomplished, she's all for it.
