Hopefully, your wife will eventually realize that rings, like most other jewelry, isn't worth much in the long run. Neither one of us wear our wedding bands any more. I didn't listen to her when she told me she wanted a pearl ring and not a diamond. She likes mostly the things I was able to pick up cheap on left-over foreign money at air ports, etc.

Sorry to disappoint you Junkman, but my post was correct. My wife and I keep our finances completely separate, and we NEVER argue about money or what it's going to be spent on.

wel the ring ended up being a braclet and Frid was her b-day so she got it.

As far as the tractor goes she said "ok" well it was more long the lines of...."Just go get it and shut up I am sick of trying to talk to you about it" hey thats good enough for me......I will be calling the dealer monday

It is a lousy deal unless they throw in a hat...... that will make it the deal of the century.... Don't call, be at the door on Monday morning with check book in hand. If you are there in person, then you can negotiate for what ever else you might want, such as a block heater, filled rear tires, front end loader, etc. Remember that asking is free, the worse that can happen is they say no... try to get the 50 hour service thrown in... that alone is worth $150 - $200. Ask for a lot, get a little..... anything for free is better than paying for it. Sounds like a good deal to me.. but then I never have any trouble spending someone else's money.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I could rent a trailer and be down there in a couple days, with check for $8,400. I got plenty of hats. Don't need another one.

Possibly both of you could get a better deal if you bought two.... besides, he won't need the block heater in FL... didn't look at where he is from before posting......
