My CPU is a neural net processor.
I'm sure you noticed the downtime! I want to apologize and welcome you back! I'll endeavor NOT to do that again!

So this morning while I was trying to fix a minor recurring issue with the forum I managed to throw a monkey wrench JUST right to hit everything on the way down.

I then spent the better part of 8 hours trying to save 3 hours worth of posts that unfortunately are lost. Then I did what I should've done at noon today and restored from the working backup.

Sorry again for the lack of access today!

Not a worry mate!

Nothing here is so important that it can't be misplaced .
Or said again "when the time is right".

Thanks for keeping it going.

Look at it this way...always test your working backups. Now you know...they work!

Tell the boss, they should have looked at the schedule for the disaster exercise.

I thought it was the App on my phone that was messed up. I'm happy to know that I can still use the App!!!!

I manage to do things like that frequently. It keeps me from having to buy bigger hats. :p

happens to all of us. I knew better than to do a Microsoft update the other day, yet I did, and it took an hour, and I missed recording and doing a live stream because of it..

You misstep reminds me of many of the tales told in the "Who, Me?" weekly feature on The Register.
After nine servers failed, techie imagined new beach career
Wow, some good stories there! Not so serious but Novell Netware got off to a rough start where I worked. The secretary/typist/executive assistant was taught about drag-n-drop on her Mac but somehow whole folders followed her mouse to random spots within other folders - without her clicking on the mouse. Everything got scrambled. She was forbidden to touch her Mac before this glitch got resolved and everything was painstakingly put back where it belonged.
