We\'re near extinction

Last week i ask were there any B1750 owners out their. Only one current owner and one former owner replied. The future for the B1750's is bleak. Where do I turn now !!!!!!

For those of you with ur new machines - ye might be able to answer this........... my rear lift is very slow to drop and I've a hint that this is adjustable. The slow speed is too consistant under weight to be a fualt. Those anyone know were the adjustment bolt or screw is on a B1750? (I know there is a small lever under the seat - but that for raising the lift, not the lowering speed.) Any assistance will be appreciated.

On the "newer" models, there is a knob below the front of the seat right about in the middle that you turn, and if my memory serves, I believe on my B7100 you tilted the seat forward and under the seat, on the right side, there was a big vertical screw with a lock nut around it. You loosened the lock nut and turned the screw clockwise to slow the rate of descent or counterclockwise to speed it up. Seem to recall that adjustment screw having a little yellow paint on it.

Now I'm not familiar with your model; not even absolutely sure I'm right about the B7100, but think I only adjusted that thing once just to see if it worked, and suspect that your tractor might be similar.

You'll have many good years of life on that 1750. the adjustment knob for the 3pt speed is under the seat. All of the manuals for your machine are still available from kubota, its probably worth getting them while you still can.

A friend of mine told me the other day he has a B1750 and bought it new in ( I think) 1974 and still runs like new. He said it has about 950 hrs on it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I don't know much more than that other than he really likes his tractor.
