I remember when Mike Holmgren brought our Green Bay Packers to the Super Bowl! He is a fantastic coach and we were sorry he went to Seattle. However he got to be the General Manager as well as the Coach so we could see how it was a good opportunity. We named a street after him in Green Bay, Mike Holmgren Way....

I like both coaches alot. But since the Seahawks are geographically closer to me and there are no ties in the game score, I suppose I should pick them but I really like the Steelers past players. I'm going for the Seahawks, they are on the West coast, it's a geographic thing. GO GO GO Seahawks, SeAhAwKs, sEaHaWkS SEAHAWKS, seahawks, SEhaWKs, SeHAWKS, SEAHAWK's, OXIDIZE the Steelers!!! Sorry guys - pulling for the steelers on this one. Has nothing to do with the Panther's losing - totally sentimental. Grew up a steelers fan back in the days of Bradshaw, Swann, Stallworth, Franco, Mean Joe and one of my all-time favorites, Jack Lambert - THAT was a man! They don't make them like that anymore. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Do like the Seahawks though and have a lot of respect for Holmgren. Liked the interview last night where he was talking about his relationship with Hasselbeck. Said his wife reminded him that "he (Holmgren) was the coach and that Brett was the player." OOPS! "sorry I meant Matt, Matt is the player" He looked like he wanted to crawl under a rock.

The sea hawks are most likely to fold in the Superbowl . They play in a weak division (and the NFC ) They haven't beaten a good team yet (unless you include the Colts minus their starters )

And there was that little guy - a Vietnam vet who lost part of his foot to a grenade. Was on the team with all the guys you mentioned. He wrote a book about it that was really good. But I can't think of his name.

That was Rocky Blier.

But, I had the misfortune of sitting near him in first class on a plane once. He was a big complainer to the hostess. Acted like he was special.

Oh well, guess he got used to being famous.
